Movie Posters 101 |
|
Film studios have become increasingly tired of the same old cliches and shock-value used in advertising for their movies, so they have decided to look around for new perspectives when marketing the films they crank out. Naturally, they turned to 3rd grade classes across the nation for help when it came time to design the posters. Of course, the kids aren't old enough to watch most of the movies they're promoting, so they're given a watered down synopsis of the plot, and are asked to create the art that will adorn movie theaters worldwide. Your task, as a 3rd grader, is to design a poster of any movie, through your own young eyes. Keep in mind that kids don't get enough allowance to be able to afford Photoshop CS, so they would probably use whatever they could dig up in the art class supply closet. Just to clarify: entries in this slag should be illustrations, but do not have to actually be created in MS Paint. However you do it, entries should focus on humor. So... disable that drop shadow, be creative, and have fun with it! |
