This is an original game that I invented for this contest. The stadium in the image is a converted football arena.
In short, the object of KwanzaBall is to get a hard, wooden ball (about the size of a grapefruit) into the goal of the other team without carrying the ball over any of the gridlines. The ball must be tossed, thrown, chucked, hurled, or juggled over a line, but if it is touching you as you go over a line (or if it goes out of bounds), the other team gets the ball at that spot.
Players may attempt to get the ball away from the other team by any means necessary, even if it means picking them up and shaking them until the ball comes loose. There are seven players per team like the seven Kwanzaa values.
