Post Youtube videos in this thread

Post any youtube videos you think are worth viewing here! They can be funny clips, cool songs, sad or gut-wrenching tributes or news clips, an awesome new movie trailer... whatever you want to share with others. Anything goes.

Reminder: to post a video just grab the ID from the end of the URL, and wrap it in bbcode. For example: "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zSgiXGELjbc" would be: [youtube]zSgiXGELjbc[/youtube]

I'll start off:

Edit: merged the 'Funny Youtube clips' thread with this one because blehhhhhh confusing

anime! :excited2: yay!

FulanoDeTal 2010-09-20 14:39

is that Flea on the trumpet?

PegLeg 2010-09-20 16:26

Yeah, that's Flea. It is my understanding that his old man was a fairly awesome jazz player and that was Flea's first instrument.

On an unrealted note; I don't know where that drum track came from, but it isn't Grohl. He is hitting the snare on the back beat nor is he cross sticking it.

LMAO at dog that can't bark. Thinkin' I'd be looking to teach him though, as every time I'd hear him scream like that, I'd flash back to the dog with human head scene in Body Snatchers, and shit myself.

NocturnalGuy 2010-09-20 17:59

Looks like a full "shreds" treatment to me... someone got a hold of the a cappella and did their own arrangement.

Probably no interest to anyone here but I love it. Just a normal evening at the house.

Guster's new album comes out next month, they've made videos for every song and they'll release periodically. Here's one of the first.

the other one (in the related videos), Stay with Me Jesus is pretty cool too.

Prof_B 2010-09-23 14:48

No limits, baby.

What a cute little munchkin...makes me regret somewhat, not having any of my own. I've got the nephews though fortunately.

I've never heard of Guster before, but I did enjoy those vids, and songs. Been a long time since I last bought a CD, might have to look into theirs when it comes out.

Me too. Never seen slide guitar done with a busted coffee mug, on an apparently amputated hand before. Dude plays a mean slide guitar that way though. Hope they gave him a nice chunk of change in his donation cup.

Ved's two vids have *almost* the same beats per minute, so playing them together synced just right is sort of interesting.

Or better yet, turn the volume off on the first one and just leave final countdown as the soundtrack.

Gear Jammer 2010-10-04 9:11

Coming Clint Eastwood directed movie "Hereafter".
Looks pretty good to me.

Wow she actually doesn't look like a female version of Iggy Pop in that video.
