You guys lost the dog sleeping lottery Our dog sleeps in his bed in our room, and will not get up until we are both fully dressed and ready to start the day. We can get up, have a shower, putter around in robes, etc. and he will continue to sleep. Once the real daytime clothes are on and the last of us heads downstairs, he will rise. Most of the time. Sometimes we realize after we've been up for a couple of hours that we haven't seen him yet. He has a YUGE bladder. If I get up early and put on my cycling gear, he won't even lift his head.
