The rise of the black Republicans

It's a big story this year, but you don't hear much about it.
Fair number of Hispanic Republicans in various races across the country as well.
I can't say for sure that all of them have Tea Party support, but I know of many that do.


I suspect that Frederick Douglass, the 1st African American to receive
a vote for President of the United States in a major party's roll call vote
at the 1888 Republican National Convention, would approve.
