Just watched this tonight. Perfectly stupid -- yeah that's a good way to put it. I'm glad it was done so well and the acting was actually really good. Dale is a great character. Larry the Cable Guy couldn't hold his jockstrap.
I'd recommend this movie highly Thanks for starting this thread originally, Chuck, or I wouldn't have even known this film was out there.
I noticed that they just added this to Netflix streaming within the last couple of weeks... I gave it a watch and enjoyed it. More nekkid 30 Rock chick would have been good.
I got a kick out of this from the folks who brought you the movie

Tucker & Dale vs. Evil has been on a two year journey, building fans and making people laugh without any advertising or studio support since Sundance 2010. This little film had nothing but a lot of heart, great actors, and word of mouth to keep it alive. So thanks to our fans - you sick fucks - we love you!
Finally got around to this last week... watched it with my boys. We all loved it. I hadn't realized Alan Tudyk was in it; that was the clincher for me!
As Frank Zappa said, "stupidity has a certain charm, ignorance does not." I think Larry the Cable Guy's depiction is more the latter, T&D the former. And they're not even that stupid.
