Yea every time that I get pissed about paying Bungie for a map pack, remind myself about that utter disaster that was the MW2 map pack. I am generally ok with it like you said because of the super high level of support that Bungie puts into a game long after it is sold.

Agree that this seems pretty quick though, but I am sure they want some DLC hotness available for when Black Ops launches.

Interesting. I signed up even though I already have a digital hoodie that says I'm a beta tester.

They might be willing to pick you guys if you were able to kick you Fallout addictions.

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaah. I haven't really been feeling the Halo itch recently. Most of it is surely thanks to having new stuff to do in Fallout, but part of me is kind of glad Bungie is moving on to new things. I can't imagine how bored they must be in some respects.

Yea I think I need to finish this DLC pack in fallout and put it away for a while.

And I think that painful slog through warrant officer burned me out a little. I should be back in soon.

Finished off the weekly challenge of completing 16 daily challenges... Man that was a lot of friggen Halo last week. I think my wife thinks I have lost it.

That 16,000 credit reward along with the rank up to Major was worth it though. Pretty nice getting over 19,000 credits on one firefight matchmaking game.

That is a ton of points. I started too late in the week to get that accomplished.

I had two left to get on the last day, yesterday. I got the one for taking out 10 drop pods. Pretty cool actually, before you disable the corvette's engines, it is shooting drop pods down to the surface repeatedly. They are really hard to shoot, but you only had to get 10. Then I got the 40 elite kills in firefight. Helped that I got a game where it was just me and one other guy, got 32 in that match alone.

It is nice not being stuck at Lieutenant for the rest of my Halo life too. It is also nice not having everyone be a thousand times better than me.... they are only like maybe fifty or a hundred times better than me.

I'm not sure I knew you could shoot drop pods in that level.

Yeah, the rank progression is nicer for people who hit that plateau in Halo3. Plus it makes the whiners really angry.

I got my first "yoink" this weekend. I didn't even know there was such a thing.

I bet my teammate was pissed. I wish I didn't have them all muted so I could have heard him.

Yea I am back on the Halo train now. That 16,000 credit challenge pulled me back in. I was really liking Team SWAT when I was playing that some last week. That is definitely my go-to playlist when I need to rack up some kills.

You know, playing team swat has made me pretty deadly on slayer playlists. I think the constant gearshift have made me super accurate.

File this under minor irritant: the xbox live website would not let me purchase additional microsoft points using firefox... the site wouldn't work. I had to use IE to get it to work. Hey, I know your preference would be for us all to use microsoft's browser, but making it difficult and irritating for me to GIVE YOU MONEY is not a good idea.

I love how the one guy even looks up to see if there's anything to shoot at.
