It really pissed me off that they killed 1 vs 100. It was pretty fun like when we had mechapix going in here. I know we will have one of the first Kinect and we will still use rockband, but it won't stop me from hating MS.

Oopsies.

Yeah, I'm not going to quit XBL over it. Which I'm sure is the case with about 99.9% of its users. MS knows that.

I did read that they're going to significantly upgrade voice quality, possibly coming with the fall update. Apparently the codec they're using was decided on when home bandwidth wasn't at the level it generally is now.

Yep, I am sure that they have all kinds of formulas and worksheets predicting at what price point people actually start jumping ship.

And that would be great news if they upgraded voice quality. I would really like it to be much more clear when I hear Elmo asking me if I love Hitler.

Hopefully they will put in the auto mute option for anyone with 420 in their gamertag.

Long, long ago in a galaxy far, far away

It's only $10 over an entire year, so I'm not that concerned. I would gladly pay $500 a year if they gave me an option to send an ear-splitting, high-pitch noise to douche bags who play on Live.

Especially if there was a "You've deafened your opponent" achievement.

FYI, there's an option now to lock in at current rates for two years... you get billed when your current subscription expires. Pretty decent deal. This offer is up on Nov. 1 when the new rates kick in.
