Hm, well now I second guessing my plan to buy Doctor Nope in 3 weeks when I get enough Vanguard Marks. Maybe I should spend it on a better fusion rifle since they nerfed the range on my awesome shotgun too.

On the bright side, my Aries Nemesis is even more badass now.

I'm wondering just how noticeable these modifications will turn out to be in practice.

I was thinking that too... the 2 percent down I am sure would not be noticeable... I guess maybe the drop from 1.5 to 1.25 precision bonus.

Here's what he's carrying:

Achlyophage Symbiote (Hunter)

Armor 13 coins, Truth 17 coins.

Those helmets are pretty badass. How many pieces of exotic armor can you equip at once?

One exotic armor and one exotic weapon at a time, I think.

I need 6 coins to get the Titan chest plate.

Got another piece of Hunter armor from an engram last night... decided to break it down instead of storing. Got 2 shards, which convinced me to break down the other one I had in the vault. 2 more shards. I think i can say at this point that I will probably not be starting a new character any time soon so no sense in keeping any of that stuff. I was going to buy an engram from Xur too last night, but he was gone. Jerk.

That might be doable... so does that mean you need arc weapons... arc weapons do more damage? I have an arc fusion rifle and I think my rocket launcher is arc also. I might not be on tonight, can you guys hold off until tomorrow night on this one?

Woohoo! My Patience and Time is arc. Fitting because this strike is going to take both of those things. I guess I should also switch to Bladedancer because of arc grenades and the arc blade.

Hellmouth jump

Yeah I can wait... or do it multiple times. hehe

Just did it then, jesus christ it wasn't fun* but my Supremacy and Thunderlord helped so much.

I've ragequit twice already from the wizard and boomer spam. When EVERYTHING (including thrall melee) does arc, its bleeding insane.

Was actually one of the easier Nightfalls so far. Soloed first attempt. Zombie Apocalypse (Arc) worked wonders! Weekly was just as easy with Ice Breaker (1st attempt, no deaths or revives) Nightfall reward: Plan C (Arc) Now.... Need to do it with my 29 Hunter and Titan...

*why do we do this to ourselves?

Answer: Replace "blower" with "loot"

That is going to be hard as nuts. I will have to get like 20 heavy ammo synthesis doodads for this since the Steel Oracle is an arc rocket launcher. Well I have a butt ton of glimmer so I can afford it.

Arc weapons and attack are 3X damage. And in the Nightfall, pretty much every enemy is Arc. Thralls can one-hit kill.

Time and Patience sounds like a good weapon to bring. I've read that Arc fusion rifles are excellent for clearing out Thralls.

Icebreaker will help with the Wizard shields, and I've almost fully upgraded it. I've got Two for the Road, a Arc Shotgun. That may help too.

I'm not available tonight either, so I'd be happy to try Wed night.

Forgot I also have Avenue A... which is a half decent arc sniper rifle. Angelic Acid is my arc fusion rifle. Both will be coming along with the Steel Oracle legendary rocket launcher.

Change of plans and I will most likely not be on tonight. Although after doing the Summoning pits on a tiger strike last night, I am wondering if that will be friggen impossible on nightfall. That three waves part at the door will be brutal. Unless you can cheese it from the room before that door room or something.

Maxed out my Aries at 300 attack last night. So I got that going for me, which is nice.

I cashed in the Purple engram I got on Monday night, turns out it's Zombie Apocalypse heavy machine gun (Arc).

I was tooling around Venus getting Spirit Bloom when I ran across a bunch of guardians opening the Vault of Glass. They were having some Vex trouble, so I hopped up on a pillar and starting sniping with Icebreaker. They got the spire built and the vault opened. They all waved and danced at me and I waved back, then they vanished into the vault.

That's great, did you get a video of that?

Yeah, I think we'd need to find a cheese strategy because that was pretty tough as a tiger strike. Nightfall will be an exercise in frustration.

Man, I really really really really want a new scout. I guess I should play more crucible or something.

Vanguard guy has a good one if you want to save up 150 vanguard marks. I am thinking about buying that legendary fusion rifle when I get enough marks. the Light/Beware one looks pretty cool. Although it will be hard to pass up Doctor Nope when I get the cash.

No video I forgot.

I did get to level 3 Vanguard and picked up Doctor Nope. The magazine is 72 rounds and it empties in under 4 seconds. Recoil is pretty bad, but hopefully the upgrades will help.

Proxima Centauri scout rifle looks cool... and it has the Firefly upgrade.

Somehow I am at Vanguard level 4. Lots of bounties I guess.

http://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGa..._lazy_players/

We should have reported our buddy last night. Or pushed him off the ledge at the start.

If you are the type of player that does this and you are reading this. Go fuck yourself. Everyone else hates playing with you. Even the Cryptarch and he is a total dick.

http://www.bungie.net/en/Legend/PGCR...76/592646871?_

Jeez, he's put a ton of time into the game. Click on him, he has three high level characters etc. Douche. Totally should have reported him (didn't know that was a thing).

Man, if it wouldn't be a waste of our time, it'd be fun to go to orbit right before the end of the strike to troll those jerks. Of course I guess it'd probably just put a couple new people in and they'd all get strike credit for doing next to nothing. So bad idea I guess.

IGN has a video on how to "easily" beat the strike, but I'm not sure it's all that easy.

Xur has the Suros Regime this weekend if you have a pile of strange coins burning a hole in your pocket.

I think I will roll the dice on an exotic engram this weekend. And buy my whatever thingamagig for my exotic bounty.
