Here's the thing...I've been watching a lot of MTB videos recently. They've sorta been creating some buyers remorse in relation to my new gravel bike.

This video just plain scares the crap out of me.

Here's one way.



It at least teaches you how to land successfully (rubber side down, not head side down). Then the Red Bull riders just progressively go bigger and bigger until you get to Rampage size drops and tricks. Meticulous planning and building of ramps too. They know just what they need to not kill themselves. That said, I think it's also important to have a brain that's not wired to say "NO DO NOT DO THIS NO NO NO!" They even call them "high-consequence lines." They know what could happen if they screw up.

Also, gravel bikes are sweet!
