No problem with it at all, I knew the Phils would win. Wasn't sure about a sweep but I knew the Reds had little or no chance of going far. So my take on the year is the Reds had a good year, they got Cincinnati talking baseball again which is cool and who knows, maybe next year they can go farther.

Exception, the douchebag that wrote this story can suck a fat one. http://www.philly.com/philly/sports/...tml?page=1&c=y

While Halladay's performance was undoubtedly magnificent, it won't be anything that we Jays fans haven't seen before - he did that at least half a dozen times last year. When he's on his game, he can bend pitches right, left or down, and everything is at the knees for a strike.

I'm glad you got to enjoy what we in Canada have been watching since 2002 (though he developed some of his breaking stuff more recently than that).

As I think I mentioned in the baseball thread: "Now you know, America. Now you know."

Dear Uncle Chuck,

The Rangers took the first two games so most of us here were expecting a sweep. Then they go and lose the next two. Now it's down to this last game. Do you think they have a chance of winning?

Let's say they do win. Do you think they have any chance at all against New York?

Dear Uncle Chuck,

Why do some American born people not wear deodorant, especially if they know they'll be out in a crowd and get hot and sweaty?

Well some could be sensitive to chemicals used to make deodorants, some may be into the hippy I am so natural mindset and some could just be nasty and gross. Now what is worse than no deodorant, those dumb bastards that believe Axe commercials and think smelling like that cheap crap will have women crawling all over them. Everyone knows the only scent that works like that is Old Spice...I'm on a horse...

Tex, trust me I want someone and yes those boys from Texas would do just fine to beat the Yankees in a sweep.

Dear Uncle Chuck,

Is one stick of Axe a day enough? I'm not having girls crawling on me so I think I'm probably not using enough.

Dear Uncle Chuck,

Last night we watched "Get Him to the Greek" on a Netflix disk. When the movie ended we went to watch the extras because that fat Jewish kid is always funny as hell in the line-o-rama and other stuff. Well, what we found was a screen that said "Fuckoff you motherfucking renting piece of shit!! We stripped all the extra shit off this fucking disk so you shiteater renters can't see it. Ha fucking ha! If you fucking want to see the extras you gotta buy this motherfucker!" or something like that.

Is that some shit or what?

Kind Regards,
FuckingRenter

Well BL, for so long you have asked why would you ever buy a DVD. I guess you got an answer. But yeah, that is some crap. Am I shocked that Hollywood studios would do this? Hardly.
BTW, I won't be buying that on DVD and damn sure not on Blu-Ray, well unless it is in a 5 dollar discount bin, then it would still be a maybe.

Expect to see it more and more. Apparently some of these stripped down DVDs don't even have scene selection capability.

And yeah, I thought that movie was pretty funny.

That's ok, the library still gets the full discs! I have been noticing this for a while now. ( and I politely polish and put a good coat of carnauba wax on the discs for them! ) (the library, ok sometimes netflix too)

Dear Uncle Chuck, I just bit my lip, while eating a spoonful of peanut butter, (late night snack of champions), and the taste of the blood trickling down my gullet was delightful. Could it be that I am in fact a , or was it just that the peanut butter was masking the bloody flavored goodness, and I'm still just working the graveyard shift, and playing one on the internet?

Dear Vlad the Lip Impaler,
I believe you are onto something, Reese's Peanut Butter and Blood candy. The choice of emo and goth kids everywhere. I would send this suggestion to them ASAP.

Dear Uncle Chuck,

I just ate a Jamaican spicy beef patty, like a hot pocket from foreign lands. Am I, or my family going to regret this?

Thanks,

Well Sneezy,

Dogs do get it, my lab for one as do I. It sucks but since misery loves company at least me and the dog can whine to each other.
