It doesn't matter to me when the draft is, since I've consistently missed it for the past three years. But no worries, the auto assign thingy gives me great quarter backs (had Favre last year) but I never get a good tight end.

Go ahead, make jokes. Tight end...etc. Get it?

Tight end... Hahaha,hehehe,ooh.

I created "The Lovable Losers" in the FF league, and restricted it to 8 teams, if anyone else beyond ash#'s still wants to join, let me know here, and I'll delete "The Lovable Losers" to make room for you.

Also I edited a setting such that all players not drafted would be free agents, and not subject to the 2 day waiver waiting period. I've always found that to be an utter pain in the ass. All trades, and players cut from someones roster would still be held to the 2 day waiver. If anyone has issues with that, let me know here, if the consensus is to return to waiver rules for undrafted players, I'll change it back.

So, when we draft, are you going to just pick from the bottom of the pile for teh losers?

I imagine after the draft you could release all players, then it's essentially a "bye" filler spot and wouldn't have any effect either with the competition or choices of players.

I can't actively draft for 2 teams simultaneously, so I was just going to let the Losers autodraft during our live one, as would occur for anyone that isn't signed in during the draft. Then after the draft, set all the Losers players on the bench for the season, thus creating what amounts to a pair of bye weeks for each of the 7 real teams in the league. I wasn't planning on releasing any of the players drafted though, just holding them on his bench, and pretending they no longer exist.

I guess that'd work. If the Losers take any players worth having, it's not really to anyone's benefit or deficit.

That would be a tragic state of affairs to have the Johnson, sitting all shriveled up on the bench all season. If ya'll have faith in me to do so fairly, I could go in, and set the order manually, using the order that was generated by Yahoo, but pushing "The Lovable Loosers" to the 8th pick.

Edit: that is assuming that it will show me the original order it had picked when I go into manual mode. I've never done it before, so I don't know.

Using the Yahoo account I created to create "The Lovable Loosers", I made a team called "The Coin" for the pick'em. Lets see how we all do against a piece of metal, shall we.

I say let it go. I'm curious to see how it all will play out.

Cool, kinda was planning to do it that way, till you brought the horror of Chris Johnson potentially sitting on the bench all season up, but the chips will fall where they may.

I say let it draft who it wants, but certainly bench 'em all right after.

It's not really right to have a team w/o a human behind it getting lucky one week and hosing one of our warm-blooded members. I don't mind going up against a coin flip in the pick'em but the fantasy league is a different story, imo.

Regardless of whether I moved "The Lovable Losers" to last pick, or left everything as it was auto set by the site, I would have benched all on that team to assure a win for everyone that played it. The consensus seems to be let it be though, which is kinda where I was headed in the first place...and just to be clear, I will bench all the players on "The Lovable Losers" for the season.

Sorry, but whatever "The Lovable Losers" end up with, will be locked on the bench for the season. It wouldn't be fair to pick and choose a few releases here, and there I'm afraid. If you really want him, when the QB's start going, I'd suggest snatching him up.

First time he pokes Cullen Loeffler before the snap/or after for that matter, he'll definitely be on the PUP for the balance of the season.

Arian Foster Undrafted free agent picked up by the Texans last year.
Steve Slaton was a beast for them, now they seem to be all Steve who?

Course with these building stats the last 3 games he's played, who can blame 'em...

Week 16 '09 (@MIA) 19 rushes 97 yards 5.1 avg 1TD
Week 17 '09 (NWE) 20 rushes 119 yards 6.0 avg 2TD
Week 1 '10 (IND) 33 rushes 231 yards 7.0avg 3TD

...and my poor Redskins are getting a visit from him next week.

Didn't have time to do my usual prep this year, and just went with the listings that Yahoo had, I was
looking for Slaton during the draft, and didn't seen him, wish I'd known about this guy supplanting Steve.

WTF??? 4 days after our games ended Monty, and it's gone from a 2 point win for me, to a 93-93 tie. I've seen changes in the points occur through Monday to points from Sunday games, but Thursday???

Ah well, I look forward to crushing you in week 8.
