"Judge Judy" was daytime's top-rated show last season -- knocking "Oprah" off its perch for the first time since the 2000-2001 TV season.
For the 2009-10 season, "Judge Judy" averaged 6.5 million viewers -- 600,000 more viewers, on average, than "Oprah," according to Nielsen.

Several Texas Rangers overheard saying "We're just gonna take it one game at a time".
note the date: 10/12/2010
If you rearrange the numbers, you get 2112; plus you get some leftover numbers. bonus.

Sunspot 1112, located in the southeast quadrant, has been the source of a giant filament that is currently stretching 400,000 km across the surface of the Sun.
However, today, there appears to be development of a enormous circular ring which looks to be linking with the huge magnetic filament of sunspot 1112. Most of today's various wavelength images of the Sun all show this feature over at the SDO (Solar Dynamics Observatory) - NASA website.

In breakthrough, scientists trap antimatter atoms.
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/eu_switzerland_antimatter
Hangst and his colleagues, who included scientists from Britain, Brazil, Canada, Israel and the United States, trapped 38 anti-hydrogen atoms individually. Hangst says that since the experiments they reported in Nature, they've been able to hold on to the atoms even longer.
"Unfortunately I can't tell you how long, because we haven't published the number yet," Hangst told the AP. "But I can tell you that it's much, much longer than a tenth of a second. Within human comprehension on a real clock."
Studying such trapped atoms could help answer basic questions in physics, like why antimatter has disappeared from the natural universe while ordinary matter abounds in the stars, planets and galaxies. Theorists say both must have been created in equal amounts in the Big Bang.

Folks Today's THV spoke with initially thought the birds were poisoned because they are what they call a nuisance around this time every year, but they are surprised to hear it is more of a mystery.
Stephen Bryant recalls, "Millions, millions fly over every night. You look up at the sky and it's just black and then last night at about 10:30 I came out here and saw a bird drop."
In a matter of hours on New Years Eve thousands of birds fell from the sky to their death.
Melissa Weatherly says, "I immediately called mom because I had to go to work, I said you have to come get the kids and get the dog because I don't know what's going on." She continues, "It was horrible; you could not even get down the road without running over hundreds.

GREENVILLE, Texas - A white buffalo, an animal rich in the lore of Native Americans and sacred to many tribes, was recently born in Texas.
Arby Little Soldier said the remarkable animal was born on his ranch near Greenville, about an hour northeast of Dallas, in the middle of a thunderstorm on May 12.
White buffalo are extremely rare. To be considered sacred they must also have certain markings.
“And that is black nose, black eyes and black-tipped tail. Not the pink eyes or the blue eyes or the pure albino,” he said. “This one here is the full one that’s counting now. He’d be the third. And the fourth in our Native American prophecy that is the end of the last days.”
