...and the advertisers wonder why people so happily skip through the ads with their DVR's.
Perhaps it's in part because we're tired of ya'll screaming at us ya moe-rons.
Supposedly it's illegal for them to raise the volume level ads are recorded at, and stations to raise the volume level they are played at, but as I understand it, they get around that by raising the levels on everything else to 11, base, treble, and all between, which makes it sound much louder.
I see they address that in the article, now that I actually read it...seems it's a bit more complex than my simple explanation.
