I saw this over the weekend after noting that it had an unusually high rotten tomatoes rating for a horror movie.

It turned out to be one of the best horror movies I've seen in many years. It is a great dissection of the typical horror movie and has a clever way of explaining how all horror movies seem to be the same.

There are nods to classic horror movies (Evil Dead, Hellraiser, Cube, generic Japanese horror genre, and many more).

I can't wait to see this. I'm trying hard not to read too much about it.

Good for Joss Whedon, he's apparently finally going to get some well-deserved acclaim this summer unless Avengers unexpectedly bombs.
