That looks like it might be awesome enough for me to suspend my science fiction only rule for RPG games.

Yep looking forward to this, although in the trailer there are things which look suspiciously like QTEs and Im not sure how I feel about that.
Also on a random tanget I just read these articles
http://fallingawkwardly.wordpress.co...rowind-part-1/
about morrowind which are pretty interesting. Ive never been much interested in the Elder Scrolls back story but apparently that shits got layers.

Where am I going with this? Well… doesn’t this remind you of something? Like, say, a savegame? How many Dragon Breaks do you have in your saved games folder? Every time a player abandons, or is forced to abandon, the path they have chosen in a game and reloads an earlier save, do they ever consider how the denizens of that gameworld might experience it? These ingame texts imply that the people of Tamriel may very well retain some memories and awareness of their lost timelines – and not only that, it’s causing their historians no end of headaches!
It would appear that this Dragon Break has not been an isolated occurence. To explain the real cause of the phenomenon we need to rewind a little, to the ending of The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall. Or, should I say, endings. [...]There are seven possibilities, and seven endings. Obviously, this left the writers of Morrowind with something of a quandry – which ending to call canon, and write into the history books of Tamriel? The answer, which came to be known as “the Warp in the West”, was: all of them.

Vampire mode is back, I really didn't like becoming a vampire in Oblivion and what a pain in the ass to get all the stuff for the cure to find out the PS3 version had a glitch that even after you did all the steps it didn't work.
Anyway here is a short video with the blood sucking revealed http://www.g4tv.com/videos/55161/the...ampire-reveal/

Man, that would be pretty annoying to run through that whole rigamarole only to find it doesn't work. Here's hoping the cure isn't such a pain in the ass this time... or that should you come across vampires, save the game a lot just in case you need to fall back.
As for the videos... Can't. Wait.

So is a quest in this game going to be called a "skyrimjob"?

Hoping the Xbox version is running smooth, I did the PS3 version and well after you play enough the lag will drive you crazy. Also a few other minor bugs that seem to be PS3 only. Sucks!

Pretty smooth so far. One freeze up, and one instance of a guy clipping through a wall to talk to me. Thats pretty much it.

Whoe... how many hours you have in now?
I am approaching 90 hours, and I am only about a third of the way through the main storyline. Finished the Companion and Winterhold questlines. Just about through the thieves guild questline. Pretty amazing the amount of time I have sunk into this game. By far the most of any game I have ever played.

Lets just say still being unemployed has greatly aided me in doing that. Lots and lots of hours. I am probably close to 200 hours I am guessing.

Wow, good job. I haven't even started the Companion, Bard, or Civil War quests yet.
In my game, I am a super stealth archer (Kahjit) with two specially-crafted and enchanted bows named "Twisted Firestarter" and "Ice, Ice, Baby".

Nice... if we want to take this next level nerd... all of my enchanted stuff is named after jay and silent bob. I have Darth Balls Armor, Pansy Ebony Booties, Blunt Saber(ebony sword), Cock Knocker(daedric mace), and Snoogins(ebony war axe).
I've said too much.

OMG, you're killing me! I didn't even realize I could name items I enchanted until I'd been doing it for a while.
I have done about 20% of the store quest, and then spent the majority of my tiime (60+ hours) experimenting with alchemy (I'm killing in that), wandering around, trying to figure out how to carry (i.e. hoard) more shit, and chasing bunnies to kill them.
Yes, I got killed by a wolf cuz I was chasing a bunny. Ditto with chasing butterflies. And those bears at that Honey-whatever cave? Yeah, they fucking smashed me up because I was busy trying to catch the bees. My god, my priorities are jacked up. The primary use of the fireball spell for me (before I had to leave the PS3 at home after Thanksgiving) is to kill bunnies.
I'm totally buying a second PS3 to take on the road. Again, questionable priorities....

yea i just maxed out my smithing, working on enchanting now. It is also nice having a daedric mace that does 95 points of base damage. What armor are you wearing that is 500? I didnt want to make daedric armor because it is too heavy.
Oh and definitely need a travel console. we are about to become a 2 xbox family.
I think the Nerd skill of this thread just leveled up.

I need to work on my enchanting, but right now I can kill almost anything in three arrows if I get a stealth shot on the target.
My archery is 100, I have sneak/archery multipliers skills, and hood and glove archery boosts. The other day I walked into a forsworn camp, unstealthed, and just started one-shotting guys left and right. A mage ran up and started blasting me with a frost spell. I stopped over his dead colleague, pulled my arrow from his chest and shot the mage right in the eye.
Totally felt like Legolas in the last LOTR battle.
