I've never seen that either.
Ah well, week 8 it is. Perfect timing too... Peyton's rematch against the Texans. I don't think he's going to be too happy.

Yeah, he'll throw for 800 yards, and 6 touchdowns, and still lose because he's got the worst run defense on the planet playing behind him? Course that don't help me none in FF points.

Thinkin' I'm gonna kill off "The Coin" in the pick 'em. Works well when picking against the spread, but not so much just picking favored vs underdog. Not really worth the 15 minutes a week to flip the coin 16 times, and enter the pointless results.

Thanks for your on The Coin.
...and it sucks that DG didn't get her picks in (or they didn't stick -- that happened to me once because I didn't confirm them) and now she's got an uphill battle just to stay in the game.

Yeah, saw that DG had no picks in this week this afternoon. Hope all is well with her, and was just a lack of time to get in, and post the picks.

How the hell do you score negative points in FF?
Jay Cutler got his bell rung and I got -3 points for it

Cutler got 1 point for yardage and -4 for the INT and the fumble.
But, you're lucky. I have Cutler in a cash league and he netted me -10.3 points from all those sacks.

9 sacks...his bell wasn't just rung, it was making like a alarm clock bell by half time.

I knew the Chicago O-line was pretty bad, but damn. Dallas exposed it, NY finally took advantage of it.
I remember during the Dallas-Chicago game, they had a close up of Cutler after he ran for his life and scrambled out-of-bounds you could clearly read his lips: "Will you guys f#ckin' block somebody!?!"

There was a play in the game yesterday where 2 Bears lineman basically looked like a pair of bullfighters, saying "olay" as a Giants rusher came in, and obliterated Cutler, for the 6th, 7th...I lost count time.
Were I Cutler, once my brains unscramble from the concussion, I'd say fuck it, I'm retiring. Dudes made more than enough money to live comfortably for the rest of his life, no need to keep playing with that O-line, and end up living in traction for the rest of his life.

Heads up MechaPigskiners, and pickers....Thursday NFL games begin tomorrow, and continue through the season. Be sure to get your FF rosters, and at least your pick for the Thursday game in by early Thursday evening, before kickoff.

Interesting, GJ, that this Mechapigskin final has all the makings of an NCAA basketball championship where both underdogs of the final four play poorly against each other (I'm thinking 2002 where my Indiana managed to get there to play Maryland and the team that played the least crappy won).
The drama has been extended through tuesday thanks to philly's mayor . I heard that the Penna. governor said that if Lombardi were still around he'd be mocking the NFL.

Yeah, after the performance put on by Rodgers against the Giants, I really wish that the Philly game had gone off on schedule rather than being delayed. If so, I'd have rolled the dice on Rodgers in relatively good weather, rather than starting Vick in that mess. Hopefully my gamble works out, and Vick manages a game on par with what Rodgers did, but I fear this one's gonna go your way, with what cards are currently left on the table to play. Will have to see what I'm up against after tonight's game.

40 points separate me from FF championship glory...as much as it'll pain me to route for my Redskins arch nemesis the Eagles tonight on NBC, I'll none the less be doing so, or at least that Vick, and Fraction Jackson have ass kicking games.

Congrats to brother B9, on the delivery of a decisive 16 point ass whoopin' in the FF Championship game. I'll by kicking myself all off season for some of the players I left on the bench, in favor of others for that game.

Thanks, GJ. I really thought I was sunk after having one of my starters out for injury. It was pure luck, really. I have to admit, it kept me especially interested in watching that philly game last night though.
Good times once again. I appreciate you putting together the league again this year!

Aw man, Monty, I thought for sure you'd pick Steelers since it'd be a sure thang I'd pick the "favorite" (although not by much) and play it safe.
