For those of you not familiar with the process known as the "exquisite corpse", here's how it works:
You start with a base image, seen on the left. The first person in line to work on the corpse takes the bottom 200 pixels of the first image and uses them as the top of their image. That person's entry should be the same width as the previous image (in this case 500px), though it may vary in height. The next person in line takes the bottom 200 pixels of the previous entry and uses them as the top of their entry. Rinse and repeat for however many images are involved.
Once the contest has run its course we should be able to overlap the entries so as to create one giant image. Check out the first Exquisite Corpse graffiti, from late July.
If you want a turn, post "I got next" or something to that effect in the comment box at the bottom of this page. All other comments should be made in the forums thread.
Voting will be set to begin once the entry limit is reached. The limit will be 15 entries this time, and the 15th entry should attempt to tie back into the top of the first entry.
Again, if you have any questions or comments, please refer to the thread. Have fun!!
I was all set to turn it in to an upside down moonrise/space sort of thing. But then thought that angle had already been played enough, and more creatively at that.
it's moving. in my mind. but it's standing still. WTF? You are amazing. this evokes such dynamic participation by the viewer. the details are outstanding (the drops of red paint on the rollers!) and the concept is flawless. If grafitti's gave a 10, this would be it.
