When I was born I had little to no knowledge of photography and photoshopping. That changed in a freak nuclear sports accident involving a toaster, an alpaca, three siberian nuns and a bottle opener.
The name Grabthar doesn't have anything to do with "grabbing" or the german word for grave. It's simply taken from a little speech that Alan Rickman gives throughout the movie "Galaxy Quest", that I found quite amusing.
