Thank you for your interest in helping out the site. We take all contest suggestions into consideration.
Daily Contest
Our daily photoshopping contest, aka "Graffiti", uses checkbox voting. Only vote for entries you like. This is our more relaxed (and humorous) type of contest.
Graffitis are geared towards photoshoppers of all skill levels; they tend to be more about fun than competition. Graffitis are either a theme, where participants are given an idea to shoot for, or a STP ('Shop This Picture), where a specific picture is given to alter (i.e. relating to current events).

Weekly Contest
Our weekly photoshopping contest, aka "Slag", uses a 1 to 10 scale for voting on entries. Slags are often considered to be more advanced than our daily contests (Graffiti).
Slags are open to everyone, are usually geared towards the intermediate and advanced photoshopper, and offer a nice method of getting feedback due to the voting scale and individual entry pages. Most Slags are theme contests (where a general idea is given to shoot for), but sometimes we do STP ('Shop This Pic) contests as well.

Faceoff
A Faceoff is a single photoshop match that is limited to two participants, or two groups of participants. It utilizes the 1 to 10 voting scale.
These contests are set up exactly like Slags, but with just two entries. Participants can agree to do a theme or STP, but generally go for a theme. When setting up a Faceoff, you can either challenge another member directly, or leave it as an open challenge for anyone. If you don't know what kind of Faceoff you want to do, the best thing to do is start a new thread here, stating that you're looking for a match. Someone will likely take you up on it.

Volleybattle
A Volleybattle is series of photoshop matches, limited to two participants. A 1 to 10 scale is used, as well as a few 1 to 5 scales based on specific criteria. These contests are a mix between Faceoffs and photoshop tennis. There are 2 entries per round; Volleybattles last for 3 or 5 rounds, and the entries are created over time (2 days per entry).
When setting up a Volleybattle, you can either challenge another member directly, or leave it as an open challenge for any member to accept. If you're confused at this point, it would be best to check out previous battles, or speak up and ask for help in this forum.
